I grew up in a household full of guns and ammo. I was very afraid of them and only touched them when directed by my parents. I was taught gun handling as a youth and am very aware of everything around me when I'm near a gun. I'm not a fan of guns.

That being said, I was at a yard sale with my friends and saw the plastic BB pellets and an automatic plastic BB gun. I've never heard of the thing before, so I was mildly amused at playing with it. Of course, I'm thinking Nerf Guns. We got home with the gun and tried to get it to work. Thankfully, it was a bitter failure. So we went to Wally-World to get some more plastic BB guns.

They are so awesome. I bought a little tiny gun with a spring clip. I wasn't expecting them to actually function like a real gun, but the chamber pulls back and the clip pops out. You load each pellet individually and it can shoot up to 200 feet.

To think we were going to shoot each other with the automatic gun! I have yet to play with it (with a target in the back yard), but I really do like it.

My friends and I started the Plastic Gun Club. My husband thinks we're dorks.
