Took me a minute to figure out what was going on.

I woke up to NPR (the quietest, non-jarring station available in my area) telling me that it was April 1st and not to believe everything I read and hear today.

I didn't even notice my avatar had changed until I visited a few blogs.

I had just left a comment on something in my watch box, and had noticed her avatar was different. I thought it was odd because I didn't think she played Pokemon. Then I saw your journal, opened it up and noticed your avatar (but didn't actually read your journal). Then I got worried because I thought I had left a comment for the wrong art. I then realized my avatar was different, and I thought that maybe dA had been hacked. It was then I realized it was April 1. I'm pretty slow this morning.

It's okay. I had been expecting such tom foolery for a few days. BBC's webpage has flying penguins.

At first I thought he was joking, then I read his art submission for today and I don't think he's joking. I mean, wtf? It's just an avatar.

) Some people can't take a joke. Since I work in IT, we've got a little bit of power to screw with people at work. We usually play a prank on someone in the office. One year the hardware guys played a prank on the HR VP, and she nearly fired them over it. And it really wasn't even anything bad. I think they set up a script to run every 30 minutes or so that played a sound file. One year we changed the VP of Payroll's .hosts file so that when she tried to go to the corporate website, it went to the Chippendale's website instead. That was funny. Then one year I put a script behind our payroll system menu screens that if they hit a certain keystroke, it told them they had performed an invalid keystroke and the server was shutting down. Ah, good times.
